Why I’m Running

Our students, teachers, and families deserve strong,  experienced leadership on the school board. I’ve worked in every part of a school district—from the classroom to central office. Now I’m ready to serve our community in a new way.

With over a decade managing the USD 383 budget, Lew understands how to balance educational excellence with smart stewardship of taxpayer dollars. He’ll ensure public funds are spent wisely, transparently, and in the best interest of students.

Lew believes in empowering teachers and school staff with the tools, time, and respect they need. He’ll advocate for professional development, fair compensation, and a voice for educators in district decisions.

Every child deserves a path to success—whether that’s college, career, or community. Lew supports inclusive programs, academic interventions, and enrichment opportunities to help every student thrive.

As a parent of a child with autism and a former chair of the Governor’s Commission on Autism, Lew is a passionate advocate for special education and inclusive practices. He’ll ensure that all students receive the services and support they deserve.

Lew believes in open dialogue and collaborative decision-making. He will prioritize transparency, public input, and family partnerships to strengthen trust in our schools.
